The 17^h Annual Quest for Hope Scavenger Challenge is coming up fast

and we need your help to make it happen!

What is Quest for Hope?

Quest for Hope is a scavenger hunt like no other!  Using a mobile app, teams scavenge their way through the expansive campus of Rotary Club Florida, following clues, answering riddles and completing zany challenges, all while dressed in crazy and creative costumes!   It’s fun with a purpose, and that purpose is to raise money to support the 1Voice Foundation’s amazing services while increasing awareness of the challenges of pediatric cancer. 

How do you raise money for 1Voice through this event?

Funds are raised in two main ways – through the fees paid by the event attendees and through generous sponsorships by individuals and organizations like yours. We typically raise $10,000 - $12,000 per year but we’re aiming even higher this year – and all of it goes directly to The 1Voice Foundation!

What is The 1Voice Foundation?

The CAUSE of the 1Voice Foundation, a volunteer-based organization with only one paid employee, is to support children with cancer and their families by connecting them with financial, emotional and educational CARE while funding research for tomorrow’s CURE.  Since their 2008 inception, the 1Voice Foundation has touched the lives of over 800 families in our community. 

• Family Support - The 1Voice Foundation provides 25 educational, emotional and financial family support programs for children battling cancer and their families.
• Research – 1Voice funds and operates a pediatric cancer research lab under the direction of Cameron Tebbi, M.D, 1Voice also funds and operates a pediatric cancer research lab where a vaccine for leukemia is being developed.  
• Advocacy - Each year the 1Voice legislative committee and pediatric oncology families testify before Congress and the Senate to share their stories and advocate for increased funding for pediatric cancer survivors and research.
• Education - Hillsborough County Schools has partnered with the 1Voice Foundation to open the 1Voice Academy, a fully accredited K - 12 Hillsborough County School and the first in the Country specifically for children with cancer.

What is Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus?

Ye Mystic Krewe of the Nautilus (YMKN) is a 501(c)(3) organization devoted to promoting Florida environmental awareness and conservation through education, charitable sponsorship and community service. In addition to their work on environmental awareness and conservation, Krewe of the Nautilus members also participate in multiple events to support the 1Voice Foundation.   Quest for Hope is YMKN’s foremost 1Voice fund raising charity event.
